Certification requirements for hardware products
If you’re selling on unit to end customer (not a company) or 10 million in EU, then you’ll need a CE mark. CE mark is mostly self-issued, but that doesn’t make it easy. It means that you’re responsible for figuring out all applicable standards for your product.
If your product is made out of physical material
You’ll need RoHS.

If your product intentionally emmits electromagnetic spectrum (other than light)
- RED 2014/53/EU
- radio spectrum, EN 300 220, EN 301 489)
- module and antenna need CE in FCC ID
If your products plugs into wall outlet

If your product is light for the road
